Users can display current and historic maps and tables of information and download model formatted rainfall data. A wealth of features and capabilities are provided for spatially distributed rainfall and flood prediction information. For instance, predictive inundation can be added as a layer in Maps.
Depth Duration Frequency Analysis (DDF) is one example of a VIP application. DDF supports categorization of return periods with display of rainfall depth frequency. The recurrence or return interval is useful for evaluating the severity and impacts of rainfall.
The VIP is designed to accommodate multiple screen sizes. Mobile access allows current and historic information to be at your fingertips. The User Management feature allows the client to add and remove users as needed. The VIP is the command and delivery center that integrates rainfall and flood prediction services and related information.
